Dozzell - takes a while to break into the team but by end of season is a regular. Sold to premier league after 3 seasons in the championship for 10 mill plus. Some people on here continue to claim he's rubbish.

....routinely pay £10m plus for rubbish players.

It's peanuts to them.

He's not a kid anymore and his inability to control/influence a match, even in the 3rd Division, leads me to believe that he won't set the world alight in the future.

Just my opinion, I may be wrong.

(but I doubt it)

I would have liked to have seen Dozzell have one last crack at it here, but I do tend to agree that if he was as outstanding as some people believe then as a 22 year old he would have had more impact in League 1.

Not saying he's a bad player, Im just not sure hes destined for the PL.

I agree, i reckon he'll start a few games but have little impact and then end up struggling to get in the 1st XI. He just doesn't seem to have the presence or determination to make the kind of player his ability warrants.

Ability is not enough, you need hunger, desire and drive, something AD appears not to have...unless a new starts sets that alight.

I agree he struggled to consistently run midfields last year but that is a big ask for someone in their first full season in men's football. Hope he gets a run of games at QPR because last year will have done him a lot of good and i think he'll improve a lot.
