The selection conundrum... 11:55 - Nov 29 with 684 views | unstableblue | .... Walton is set in goal Doncien deserves his pace but needs to form a partnership ahead of him, and he needs to be bolder I would have not problem with KVY starting against weaker teams (if there is such as thing in this league) Toto I like but is still not good enough Edmundson first on the team sheet in my view Clements, better yesterday, looking at the extended highlights a lovely wing ball during the game... but need Coulson back ASAP Morsy - set, but we need even more from him. coasting a little Fraser - he has to take the middle slot, evans is just not giving enough, can fraser do the defending of the deeper 2? his through balls are worth his inclusion Piggot should come in over Bonne.. I know harsh... but they were two sitters yesterday, and he has to put them away Now the real conundrum the front 3.... Celina has to start.... he's done enough in the last two games, he's effective... and although he seems to do better wide I'd play him in the 10.. as Chaplin was poor yesterday Edwards needs to start to give us pace And with that pace in the team Aluko shades it over Burns... but that is very close as Burns is an asset Burns, Bonne as super subs Against Arsenal I'd play: Hdalky KVY The Wolf Youngster Burgess Harper El Miz Villa lad Chaplin Edwards Piggot

The selection conundrum... on 12:51 - Nov 29 with 615 views | Garv | Agree on Toto and Clements. While they have qualities, they're weak links. If it's a toss up between Clements and Penney, the latter starts every time. I guess there's no harm in trying Pigott with Bonne so out of form. Not sure he'll have the work rate of Bonne though. I'm a big Aluko fan, but I think Burns starts ahead of him. Agree on Edwards and Celina.

Toto is just a little inconsistent through a game for me...he does marshall the box well at times, and I think the reason he is playing is his strength on set-pieces Penney was awful when he replaced Clements against Rotherham, Clement is young and improving and if he can put some wobbles behind him he's a prospect. Coulsen is the man thought - no idea how his injury is. Yes Bonne works very hard and is constantly harassing the CBs and sitting on their shoulder, he takes two defenders out of the game.. and just not sure piggot can match that... but we need goals from who ever plays the solo role.. and those were absolute sitter yesterday I love Aluko.. woeful debut, since then he's been excellent.... but Burns has that pace and raw attack and he's a better finisher I still have hope that once the team truly settles.. and it get confidence that the attacking can continue and the holes we saw yesterday in our shape can be eradicated... but feel I'm in a minority.. and the negativity will remove Cook... and then we're back to square one with Ashton choosing successor (eeek!)... but reservations about Cook's technical/tactical chops are very very valid..

Toto is frustrating. Around the 80th minute yesterday, when we’re trying not to buckle, he had the ball and tried a long pass which went straight to a Crewe player. He’s not alone in being terrible at keeping the ball but it’s painful at times.

The selection conundrum... on 13:37 - Nov 29 with 495 views | tractorboy1978 | The issue Cook has is we really need to win both of these games with a bit of swagger to go into Charlton with a bit of confidence and on a high. Too many changes will likely see disjointed performances. I suspect the FA Cup game will be full strength and by that I mean Walton, Edmundson, Morsy, Celina will play. Midweek will be a few more changes I reckon but he can't lose to Arsenal U21s.

I note Charlton play on the Friday night (on telly I assume) against a banana skin of Gateshead... bit of travel involved Will be interesting to see how they get on and how strong their side is.. There last two results look like wobbling again.. after the manager change Hopefully Barrow with swagger... but they'll come at us Arsenal is a challenge as it'll be the rusty B team.. but hopefully El Miz and Harper can provide a bit of energy.. sadly Arsenal U21s will prove a test!
