Charlton, Wigan and Sunderland.

With how we have been, I really can't see anything more than 1 point and that would be nicking one against Charlton.

Could be toxic by the time PackoutPR takes place.

So depressing.

Charlton will be another blockbuster thanks for a midweek game under the lights, fingers crossed they chuck out the white and black kit too. Sunderland will almost certainly be a loss given our recent history with booster crowd.

Tough ask.

Think we'll win one of those games, we aren't that bad, but how nice would it be to come out with five points or more. Good chance of a result at Charlton with a big midweek away crowd, we'd just have to show we could build on it.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's more than 4 points. I think we'll manage to win one, and if we don't, well the case for Cook departing looks irresistible.

I think the bottom line is that if we don't get 6 points from the next 3 games, at least one team in the handful above us will do so, and we will be even further from the playoff spots. If we're, say, 10 points from the playoffs (once games in hand have been accounted for), at the halfway stage, that would be one really tough ask to make up that ground.

'Statement win', lose, lose.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Got to win one of the 2 away games and the home game.

Anything less and we'll be likely 10+ points from POs with everyone having games in hand

how do you work that out joe?

if we get 5 points, we'd be on 32.

mk dons and wednesday would need max points to be 10+ points above us.

i can't see them doing that

People are going a bit over the top from the last 3 games.
Of the 5 similar games we played recently, only one (Rotherham) played out as an "unwinnable" game, the other 4 could have gone either way. Our problem is that we're no better than the rest of the teams in the top half, not that we're markedly worse.

I'm as critical of Cook as anyone else, but let's be accurate about what we're complaining about.
