Don't know why the insistence on still calling it 'syringing' though, as that technique of blasting cold water literally jetted into the ears by force was replaced by a more modern version years ago.
Place near me charges £95 for what used to be a 5 minute job with a nurse at the local practice.
Also this has encouraged the appearance of cheap devices that are supposedly designed to do the job, like some corkscrew thing to place inside the ear.
So much for the old adage of never putting anything smaller than your elbow etc...

You forget the 100,000s of thousands of nurses, doctor, medical technicians, midwifes, surgeins etc who are joing the NHS by the day.
All of whom can be rained in a matter of days.
Cynics will suggest that the figures the overweight oaf quotes are just whatever number comes into his head at any government. They might also wish to point out that there is a severe staff shortage in the NHS due in no small measure to the Tories removing nurses bursaries, and causing so many to leave the country after brexit.

As someone who works in the NHS the damage done in the last 10 years has been incredible, it has felt a personal and sustained attack on every area of the NHS by the Tories throughout that period.
