Sergei Baltacha Documentary on 15:10 - Feb 16 with 1980 views | Lord_Lucan | It was really good. I used to play tennis at Henley Rd and she was often smashing the balls about with her trainer - sometimes on the court next door. Seemed a nice lady although I never spoke with her - well I might have apologised a few times for having to retrieve my ball.

I remember his first game, I think we beat Stoke 5 - 1 although I stand to be corrected. Magical atmosphere and Sergie said afterwards that 20,000 English fans made more noise than 50,000 Ruskies - this is though before they were allowed to shout in USSR He seemed to have enjoyed a good life in Scotland and enjoyed it, Elena though was far too young, and she was one of our own.... I've just googled Sergie, he's still alive! I thought he was dead for some reason.

She said that she hadn't ever seen them but was then able to watch them with her family. She's a real loss to Ipswich and the tennis world.

These are my videos on YouTube. It's a nice comfort that Elena got to watch them. As you say, so sad she was taken so young.

You may have been thinking of Ian Redford, who he followed to St Johnstone.

Redford had had a very good career in Scotland before joining Town. Looking at his Wiki page: Dundee 85 games 35 goals Rangers 172 games 23 goals Dundee United 101 games 20 goals. Another sad loss of life, though. Can't help thinking he never quite settled in East Anglia. RIP Redders.
