Noticed it against Gillingham and thought that maybe I’d missed the announcement/board going up but seems like the same thing happened again today. Sorry if it’s been mentioned already but I couldn’t see anything when I just had a quick scan of the board while waiting at Fleet services on my way back to the south coast……… I must say it’s a happier 3 hour journey back these days

Wasn’t announced though, I seem to recall Wenger doing something similar at Arsenal

Ah. Announcing instead of displaying the added on time is a different thing.

Brenner remarked a couple times on the “mystery” of how much time was left. Something as fundamental as game time should not be a mystery. Should be displayed and announced.

Can a manager request that? Surely not? I was equally confused it wasn't announced or shown today.

Technically the fa rules are the home side must ensure that sub boards are available to signal a change in player. There isn't or at least hadn't been a rule that said you had to show how or announce how long left in a game.

The board's all show 90... so everyone pretty much can guess. Sometimes it will get the crowd going especially if we need a goal. Seems like tinkering if true.
