Bournemouth 20:07 - Apr 11 with 1828 views | dominiciawful | Just noticed that Forest are six points behind them having played the same number of matches. Still probably the favourites for 2nd, but I thought they had a little bit more breathing space. I would laugh very loudly if Bournemouth mess up automatic promotion and fail in the play-offs. I would laugh a lot. Also, what a turnaround for Forest after taking one point from their first seven games, I think.

I haven't been following the way teams in the Championship play, but I often look at the scores/table, and he does seem to have done an excellent job. Wasn't he at Swansea? Four defeats, a draw and then two more defeats in their opening games under Hughton. To be where they are now is a great achievement.

Bournemouth on 20:20 - Apr 11 with 1722 views | Chrisd | Bournemouth are playing Middlesboro’ on Good Friday - tough fixture and they still have got Forest to play too, that could be a monumental game. On paper, I think the Cherries have the tougher run in. Forest have got serious momentum currently, winning the last 5 and playing with supreme confidence. My brother is a Forest fan and goes quite often, he thought they’d catch Bournemouth even when there was a 10 point difference, he could be right!

One of my mates is a Forest s/t holder. To think that we were both consoling eachother after our bad starts at the beginning of the season. They have turned it around superbly since getting rid of Hughton and bringing Cooper in. I fully expect them to get promoted to the Prem. [Post edited 11 Apr 2022 21:08]

Forest have been on an incredible run but I think they’ll come unstuck in the playoffs.

They are a bit like us in the play-offs, whenever they get there.

Yep, was thinking of us in I think 97 or 98, incredible second half of the season under Burley and then cue the playoff heartbreak

I'm hoping Forest get promoted. Some cracking young footballers. If they go up they need to get that Boro right back on permanent. He's been different class.

Bournemouth on 12:48 - Apr 12 with 806 views | quirkie | Quite amazing that Forest have been away from the top tier longer than us 22 seasons now. We can laugh at our neighbours being more successful than us at the moment but always humiliating themselves in the top division every other year but Forest don't even have that comfort, I'm assuming that Leicester are regarded as a near enough neighbour to them here.

They see Derby as their main rivals so I suspect they are affording themselves the odd chuckle.

If Bournemouth get promoted they are apparently committed to pay Norwich £11 for someone who sits on their bench. So, yes, I hope Forest and Boro make it.

Rather like with McKenna here, shows what a difference a really good coach can do. Cooper has a similar background, having done his badges early , worked his way up & coached at the Liverpool academy. Rather odd that Swansea got rid after he took them to the play offs 2 seasons running, but maybe we'll do the same if that's McKenna's fate.
