TWTD Revisionism Award 17:53 - Jul 5 with 757 views | Keno | At times there is a fair degree of revisionism of past managers and even players on here so whats the best piece revisionism we can come up with? Keane - was used to being around high class players and was let down badly by the quality of the squad he had to work with. Had he been allowed to sign the kind of players he was used to being with he would have got us promoted Hurst - visionary young coach, ruined by player power and not given enough time to impose himself Lamberk - was more used to being at big clubs and we let him down by not learning to speak German Cook - wasnt given a chance by the new owners, outstanding manager who players are now exiting Town in droves to link up because they can see what he could have done at Town if he'd been given more time over you to lot to have go ....... Winner gets a prize...... (maybe) [Post edited 5 Jul 2022 17:54]

TWTD Revisionism Award on 18:37 - Jul 5 with 696 views | monty_radio | Keane — A Former great as a player who had learnt sophisticated banter from similarly great changing-rooms which our lesser players mistakenly took to their hearts and were left feeling slightly inferior and thereby rendered not quite able to perform at their best. Hurst — Young coach who had led an average Shrewsbury team to punch above their weight, but was left bemused that our old pros were too blinded by their so-called greater experience to buy into his newer promised land. Lambert — A coach much influenced by playing experience (which may, or may not, have had Germanic origins) but who proved unable to translate this yellow-wall vision into English League One success when his team no longer played in yellow. Cook — A revolutionary whose visionary demolition was undermined by natural reticence and the low caffeine content of Portman Road coffee

TWTD Revisionism Award on 19:05 - Jul 5 with 669 views | FrimleyBlue | Hurst was ruined by player power and meetings behind his back, expected to replace 42 goals with no financial support to bring in equivalent players of the same level. PC was given the opportunity to make severe changes to the playing squad. Then binned off during a stage of panic for someone with 0 management experience at any senior level There you go :)
