being PM and being POTUS

He got 25,000 votes at the last election

The country voted for a government lead by the Conservative Party not for President Johnson

Indeed, although many people in other constituencies were convinced that BJ was just like them and bought into the Get Brexit Done message, the fackin lunatics. I can see why a narcissist like him would think it’s all about him.

Quite, its one of the things that frustrates me about modern UK politics. We don't have a presidential style of government, but the media and many of us make it about the leader.

Look at all the repeated conversations on here about whether or not, Kier Starmer and formerly Jeremy Corbyn are electable based on their personality, but very little discussion ever about the policies of their respective parties.

Boris was elected, purely and simply on the "Get Brexit Done" message, a big number of the populous were so sick and tired of Brexit dominating the news cycle that even many who voted to remain were of the opinion that they just wanted to see the back of it, one way or the other, so we get the Conservative Party. But now that Brexit is indeed done, they can see their majorities evaporating and Boris' conduct is not helping them, and as a result there is a lot of self-preservation going on.

But he's a narcissist, so for him, it is him they voted for, not the party.
Its going to be an interesting day.

Today is the day to pay attention.
There will be scores of Pub Quiz questions and answers to be had.
Some unknown MP from a red wall seat may get a ministerial post at 2.00pm only to be removed 10 minutes later when Johnson implodes.

The likelihood is that Johnson will remain as caretaker PM just like Camoron and Mayday did until someone else is chosen as PM.
I almost said 'someone more suitable' which I think is a give but amongst this shower of sh*ts I don't think any Tory MP will make a passable PM.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?
