it is not Parliament who will decide how the problems the government has caused should be dealt with and I do think a bit of time could be set aside to hearing MPs thoughts on whether the Fixed Term Parliament Act should be replaced perhaps GB might also care to share his thought, on whether the bloater has actually resigned (as claimed) - as he did appear to be at the dispatch box earlier in fall rant mode

The fixed term parliament act was repealed in March and discussions during Brexit made it clear it was worthless. A government could at any point override it with a simple majority. What's needed is a real constitution, rather than convention. Convention is powerless in the face of mendacious and dangerous individuals. Erskine May has had it's day, our current system is too fragile when the Prime Minister decides he no longer cares for our conventions on democratic government.

err..... yes my comment was made to GB, who yesterday claimed the Fixed Term Parliament was still in force We should be careful of losing something just because a lying piece of filth chooses to behave like a cnt However, the Speakers authority should not only be beefed up, but have someone with the ability to enforce riles - we are being badly let down by the kow towing incompetent, Hoyle

Johnson has resigned as the Leader of the Conservative party. He remains in post as a prime Minister until a new airy leader is elected. The fixed term Parliament act was repealed. Always happy to help out you thick righties in such things.

Whereas yesterday you claimed [n]"form a government for a minimum of five years " which does rather suggest you did not know that Act had been replaced, and as said, even when it was in force it certainly was not for a minimum of five years, inferring that a government could sit for longer than five years
