We had wave after wave of attacks in the second half against Bolton, and kept freshening up our eleven on the pitch.
In fairness, Bolton are a decent side and soaked it up. But we should be an absolutely terrifying prospect against any of the sides not expecting to finish in the top eight.

I was impressed with Jackson's workrate yesterday. I still don't think he makes good decisions and never fancy him to win the ball in the air, but he does look brighter than I have seen him. I'm sure Ladapo and TJJ will sharpen up but there are promising signs. I'm sure Harness will have much better days too.
Would feel a lot more comfortable with a fourth striker but still feeling very positive for the season ahead. |  |

If we’re converting chances, we’re terrifying. If we’re not, then what’s to fear? I’m taking the same approach this season as is the mantra by many. It’s about wins and points, not platitudes and near misses. Any home result which isn’t a win is 2pts dropped. Any away result which is a point or more is fantastic.
Regardless of the impetus and promise, it’s still just 2 wins in KMs last 10 games, which needs to improve. On to The New Lawn where we need to win. | | | |

It’s been 4 summers of hearing now (not from you btw) about how great we are how good our players are ad infinitum ad nauseum and nobody learns. Zero expectations have to be the idea from our fan base now and any success will be a pleasant surprise. |  |
