TWTD comics nerds 21:05 - Aug 11 with 732 views | BlueBadger | Anyone been watching the Netflix adaptation of 'Sandman'? Wow. What a show. As a fan, it's near-perfect-its true to the spirit of the original medium and any changes are respectful and logical. Possibly my show of the year.

I saw a couple of clickbait articles suggesting it wasn't great or had issues but didn't want to prejudice my viewing so avoided it. Gaiman's American Gods on amazon is an interesting watch if a bit jarring at times. I have his Norse Mythology too and enjoyed that.

As per my OP, I'm a fan, so usual caveats apply here, but to me, it's a superb blend of 'accessible to new people' and fan-serving. There's a vocal minority out there that are upset because some of the characters aren't as white as they are in the comics but tbh, their performances(as well as Neil Gaiman himself pointing out that several characters can basically manifest how they want)generally make that irrelevant.
