Mind you, I can think of at least one Trust regionally who's senior management would have lapped up the whole 'no bad news please, this carpet's plenty big enough to brush those under' approach.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Dammit! I had hoped that the truncated part of your URL in the Table View was going to be 'tuce-dodging.'

No, please do. I've not had a ten pager in AGES.

You mean old table v the far superior thread view used by the intellectual elite of the board. And by me.

I must admit that I don’t use the Oxford comma when writing for letters, reports and papers.

I don’t think I’d focus on that first though if I was tasked with turning round a beleaguered health service hammered by years of underfunding. Unless I was feckin clueless and didn’t know how to do my job.

Speaking of which, the Mrs is stuck in minor injuries clinic with the eldest. Been there 3 hrs and still to be triaged. That’s not a good sign 🙈

We have an intellectual elite?

Yes. Although that tells you all you need to know about those who don't reach that standard.

Nothing wrong with being positive... im sure a lot of people feel the same.exactly what we need once the funeral is over but not until after that because it might upset some

Given the myriad problems and challenges health and social care currently face(a significant number of which have been caused and/or exacerbated by the last 12 years of Tory rule) the last thing we need is a health secretary who doesn't want to hear bad news. It's not how you fix problems.

It's OK. She's got an ABCD of priorities. If she has got to O on her list already, everything must have been satisfactorily resolved (or well on its way to being privatised at least - the next letter on her list).

Doesn't this put her directly at odds with Rees-Mogg?

But have you tried believing harder?
