Kept the midfield ticking over really well first half, some decent forward passes too. One of the top performers. I would love to see him get more bench time as he's certainly earned it whenever he's played.

His footballing intelligence reminds me of Flynn. Not as much bite though (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

Very accomplished performance.

Fourth choice after Morsy, Evans and Ball.

Yep good performance. Again. he always does to be fair. Can drive it forward more for me and drag the game on/take control. He's still growing. But solid and worth keeping ij first team squad this year. My thoughts.

Good but not not the best midfielder at the club.

He's 18 and played 7 matches. Brightest prospect we've had for years. A fair comparison would be when Downes broke through, not with Morsy, Evans or Ball.

Great prospect. Probably still needs a senior player or two alongside him. Tonight he had Ball and Keogh in close proximity.
Couple of times tonight, he showed good strength . On top of the usual skill set. Which I was pleased to see. As I thought, that, physically, with his age etc. Might be an area of his game that he may need to grow into over a bit more time.
Can honestly say, that I don't think he's ever looked out of place, whenever he's featured in the first team. Even if those games have been a little bit hand picked.
I could see him going out on loan in Jan', if our entire midfield are fit. Equally, he looks to be improving, just being around the seniors and coaching staff. And also, being part of a squad that's got some good momentum, atm.
Hope we can give him a pathway that keeps him improving , and keeps him interested in being part of the clubs own pathway. I think, with the right guidance, he could be one hell of a player in a season or two.
He's contracted until 2025. Don't know if there is an option to extend that by another season. But, at least we've got him under our wing for a few years yet. I'm looking forwards to seeing him grow into our first team. All things going well..I feel like there's some genuine hope with Humphreys. That he can keep improving as the team moves forward and stay a part of things for a good while. Always nice to have a few of our own in and around the first team..
