due to the goals being too big. What's going on here? Pretty sure this happened somewhere else recently as well.

Yes, think it was Wigan vs Cardiff. Put me in mind of Red Bull dobbing Mercedes in for their rear wing being 0.2mm over regulations in the F1 last season.

You can imagine the board of directors at Hull guffawing at Wigan being a bunch of amateurs. It wouldn't happen here.
Then go and measure your own goalposts d*ckheads.
Don't wait for the match officials to do it on the day of the match.

Guffaw, Guffaw - bunch of amateurs at Hull.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

But how does it happen? Surely they must be using the same goal frames every match? Presumably they must somehow get warped when moving them for the rugby matches.

It's a no-brainer isn't it.
I reckon there are a load of clubs thinking 'what a bunch of w*nkers' and yet they haven't asked their own groundsmen to check their own goals.

Message to ITFC - just do it FFS. Don't make us look like a bunch of amateurs.

Could it be the goal sockets were to high within the ground and it was quicker to saw the goals than to dig out the sockets and reset..

a niche perspective
