Brilliant view of the last goal here. What is brilliant is Humphreys quick looks across goal before he's hit the ball. Something so important yet many struggle to do so.

Little things like that show some footballing intelligence.

I think one of the most underrated skills in the game is the weight of pass. I like your suggestion of playing Humphrey's a little further forward too as I think he's a good incisive passer and could develop into the more forward of a 3 man midfield.

He has enough time to look up twice. Some players wouldn't have had time for one.

The ball from Davis mustn’t be overlooked, inch perfect to create that opportunity 👌🏻

Yes the cool head and presence of mind from the youngster was really encouraging.

The time to look up was largely created by Davis' inch perfect pass, so well done to all involved in the goal. Gotta be happy for Freddie.

Agreed - he’d be good there. You could argue there’s a space for him there in the squad, too.

He’s going to struggle to get in front of 3 of Morsy, Evans, Ball and Camara and we don’t tend to sub our CMs either.

We’ve got 4 players for two 10 positions too but all four tend to play every game, potentially making it easier for him to get minutes there. Only needs to get ahead of one player, rather than three.
