He really is doing my head in. Continually going on about how brilliant we are. Sings the praises of players even when they are having a bad game, and worst of all gloating when we are ahead. Every week talks like it's job done moving into injury time. He's getting worse every week and did it again last night. When he did I just knew the power of the gloat would backfire on us. I tell ya he's the problem. Needs to be a bit more humble.

My dad has very similar feedback 😂. I didn’t hear it but he said he was waxing lyrical about the first half performance. Said he was also harping on about the Plymouth score like it was the final game of the season.
My old man said ‘I won’t be watching any more’. 100% he watches Peterborough haha. |  |

Do what I do, and sync the Radio Suffolk online commentary (which these days tends to available most games) with the iFollow video (with the sound turned off).
The Radio Suffolk commentary is slightly ahead, but I just pause it when Brenner, say, announces the kick-off, or the opposition taking the knee, and resume when the video catches up.
Indeed, I manage to get it more in-sync than when Radio Suffolk used to do the iFollow commentary. [Post edited 3 Dec 2022 13:29]

I hadn't realised that. I don't know if a VPN locating you in the UK, or using 4G, would do the trick.
As it is, I use my mobile phone for the Radio Suffolk commentary, and my computer for the video. I am based in the UK, outside Suffolk, where games are also supposed to be blocked but haven't been on occasions this season. [Post edited 3 Dec 2022 13:34]

Not heard much of it and what I have heard sounded ok but maybe he’s been influenced by the narrative that developed about Brenner (that he was too negative or somehow anti us, got too excited when the oppo scored etc)…and either given a brief to be upbeat or tries to be really positive because that’s what it sounded like people wanted from the criticism of Brenner towards the end. Personally, think Brenner is a good anyway. |  | | |

Yes, Brenner is a fantastic commentator, with warmth, enthusiasm and a great vocal range, in contrast to the monotone, dull and ten-a penny in-house chap. I particularly enjoy hearing Mick Mills alongside him because it takes me back to my childhood, and I also like the banter he has with Alex Mathie.
If you can't pick up the match commentary, you can always listen to Final Whistle, where there is 20 minutes or so with the co-commentator, along with the excellent Graham Mac. | | | |
