Poll: How would you feel about a UK Identity Card?

The right seems hell bent on ripping itself apart - much as in the UK. With the thought being that both partys need ever more right wing policies to win back voters.

Recent by elections and electoral polls should have been enough to act as a clove of garlic and a cross to such scary beliefs. Much as in the US with the midterms being a relative failure for the Republicans.

But no, ever more ludicrous and out of touch beliefs are to be conjured up. The very policies that added a smidgeon of sanity to the Tory government are the very ones that are diving voters away it would seem (the reality is actually the very opposite).

So today a gaggle of righties have vowed to allow any nutter to have a say. From non UK residents who do not have a vote in any UK election to 17-15 years who do not have a vote either, by dint of age disqualification. An ever decrasing number, shouting at themselves drifting ever further from reality.

Crenshaw is now calling the 20 Trumpist GOP who are voting against McCarthy, “domestic terrorists”

Seeing as he wasn’t going to get another football job over here, I’m quite impressed that Mick has had a go at US politics.

If he does, I hope the moderate conservatives in the Republican Party vote for Jefferies over Donalds.

Donalds has consistently got 20 votes, which makes a total of 435 available - so any prospective speaker needs to get to 218 to seal a majority. Which means only six Republicans have to rebel against Donalds, should McCarthy withdraw, to gift Jeffries victory.

Yeah but all this vote after vote without gaining promotion is getting very boring now.

Like in football, he seems to think that a draw is always a good result.
