When you look at what's to come at home, Wednesday aside, we should be winning most of them IF we play how we can and the new signings click. Bolton, Barnsley, Posh and Derby away are going to be challenges. However I haven't given up on top two.

Interesting to see it without all the emotion of the day and beer, and it changed my views on the game.... Walton wasn't as bad as I thought at the game, there were 3 poor long kicks to no one and a nervy bit of kicking out, but in general, he was pretty good with some good distribution to beat the press and took some good high balls. Chaplin was our best player i thought, drops deep, spins and is so good at the press, he deserved to get a goal out of the game given his work rate and the positions he got into. Plymouth really were not all that at all. With the exception of the open goal and their actual goal, they created virtually nothing. The Norwich guy was soo poor it was unreal, he was out of position frequently, had a poor touch and gave the ball away so many times....don't think there is much chance of a Norwich recall at all given his performance. Think we need to put that into one of those game categories, very frustrating but I'm sure KM will address the issues and we will start learning. I don't entirely get the doom and gloom. Much in the same way that Man City are not out of the Premier League title race, I don't think we are either, we now have a really good opportunity to put a run together and get some momentum back. Hopefully, Broadhead will be involved on Saturday, and with a week of training I would be bringing in Hirst to start in place of Freddie.

I think the doom and gloom is because we’re all feeling a bit punch drunk since the Charlton game. It hasn’t all been bad since then, but draws feel like defeats given how well Sheff Weds and Plymouth are doing. But it is far far from over. COYB

I agree with all of the above I think a lot of the discontent and negativity can perhaps be attributed more so to disappointment - but two totally different emotions I've still got the faith albeit it's very frustrating but again , we've got two attacking additions yet to make a worthwhile contribution for obvious reasons - they've been here two minutes !!

Yeah don't disagree at all, I was sat in the extra time with a feeling of impending doom which I'm sure others were (just as we all knew Jackson would miss the derby penalty!). Hopefully, we've had our dodgy period now, Wednesday haven't and as posted above have some tough games coming up including us.

Was going to post same thing. Watched it back as well. We were actually very good. Plymouth were best I've seen in league but that's not saying much. Mumba was awful. Davies was superb especially first half. Ipswich played some really good football and gave it everything. We are streets ahead from last year in terms of players and how we okay.
