Routine Win today? 10:27 - Mar 4 with 911 viewsWestSussexBlue

Maybe it’s the fact that we have closed the gap, maybe it’s the fact that we really should take 6 points in the next few days, perhaps it’s seeing a realistic chance of moving back to Second within a week or Two but I’m nervy ahead of today’s game.
Their record of late isn’t horrendous and the pressure is on us.
So, routine but patient win or meltdown this evening because we’ve dropped points.
Here’s hoping for an early goal from a fast start and comfortable by mid second half.

Town don't do routine wins.

Not really given our record of conceding 30 yard screamers to players who haven’t scored in 50+ games.

They've taken more points than us over last 6 games, definitely won't be easy. Will need to stand up to physical pressure which is something that makes me nervous with us.

This season at Portman Road...

Cheltenham 1-1
Fleetwood 1-1
Lincoln 0-1

Talk of routine wins should be banned.

Our. 1-0 win away to them earlier in the season was exactly the type of result you need for promotion. And something we struggled with at the end of last season. Alas only if we could have kept that form…

Just to add they have conceded 35 away goals thus far which is joint worse with 2 others , but have scored 23 which is by far better than most in the bottom half of table ……. Just saying !

Very nervy too.

I'm sure KM & squad won't be looking ahead to it as a "routine win", because that would be incredibly complacent, complacency is dangerous & could come back to bite us on the bum.
