On what measure? Wed/Barnsley were both frazzled from their high intensity game. We beat Barnsley if it was on Sat I reckon.
That said it's not done us harm so far - great results so probably good to take it as working. Hopefully Barnsley are out of it when we play. Need to beat Derby. Get that done and let's just keeping winning. We'll never truly know but if we go up then it was the right call!! (Might still have been right call if we don't go up. Fine margins). |  |

Regardless it was the right decision, our momentum could easily have been lost by losing to Barnsley. We could have beaten Barnsley and lost to Derby, we might still do that. We will never know what might have been but we can acknowledge that 2 of our best players would have been missing. | | | |

I think that's probably the right spirit to take it to be fair. It think it was relatively tight margins of pros and cons. Like you say if we lose at Derby it doesn't mean it was wrong (ie we might have lost anyway).
I said my preference was to play. But McKenna knows more and better than me that's for sure. | |

As above, it really makes no odds until we play the revised fixture. It's a very encouraging set of results that has come to exist without us needing to do anything.

It's predicated on a lack of confidence for how we would have fared last week isn't it 😅.
The fan who wanted to play the game probably sees a Barnsley side who could have been there for the taking last Saturday. They were second best in the second half against Exeter and a victory for us on top of the Exeter defeat could have them to the sword already. Meanwhile the fan who didn't want to commit to a huge game with the certainty of two important absentees probably sees the hope that Barnsley's race may be spent by April 25th. Their run is over while ours wasn't risked.
