Absolutely. If one asks the question: how often is a goalie allowed to make a howler?, the answer must surely be, well if he keeps the ball out for 949 minutes, then he can do what the hell he likes, at least for one game.
I have full confidence in the guy. He is a human being. He's not perfect, he makes mistakes like all keepers, but he is highly coveted and there is a reason for that. Normal service will be resumed.

Also worth pointing out that he seems to have become much more assertive and commanding in the past 10 games, much more like the Walton of last season. This has contributed hugely to our recent remarkable defensive record. Although disappointing, I think he is allowed today's wind-assisted error. | | | |
