I was gonna ask, how come a dog is allowed a waterproof coat, but a can't can't have a town shirt? That's catist.

It's mostly not cold that can lead to medical harm for dogs, but wet, esp if prolonged. There's alays going to be times you get caught in heavy showers out walking etc.

Breeds with thin skins and/or thin, one layer coats (eg greyhounds, whippets) need protecting against the cold as well - in our climate anyway.

Please explain how putting clothes on your pet is animal cruelty? Unless it harms in some way, and the pet is OK with it.
