Don't get this, he's a decent player and probably available relatively cheap by Premier league standards. Good buy for a club like Everton.

I don't really follow the Premier League these days, but isn't he a Dutch international who's been playing for the team which finished 3rd in the league and 2nd in the FA Cup?

I'd be surprised if they get him. Good player.

Didn't score the goals for United but certainly contributed. And wouldn't be that worried about the goals since his goal scoring record is generally excellent. In 4 bundesliga seasons he was a a 1 in 2 striker.

When he's the main scoring focus for a side he has proven over a long period that he can score.
