The barmaid, the bloke that scanned my ticket and the chief steward were all great. Very friendly and commented on how they had never seen so many fans wearing this season's shirts before.
Leif getting a hero's reception as he walked past the fans when getting subbed off is a great memory. Freddie and CC coming on and making the difference. Beating a recent bogey team that were as yet unbeaten. Great day.

First time I have seen us win there, so a massive relief.
My first visit. Lovely friendly people.
First half I sat close to McKenna. He spent a lot of time looking at his computer screen. The Accrington manager didn't have a computer, just stood there watching the match with fairly frequent shouts which I couldn't hear. I always thought we would win. Accrington could not keep up that intensity for 90 minutes.

Both sets of fans mixed and sat together in the pub by the ground before (Everton v Liverpool was on if I recall correctly).
Stewards, catering staff, fans etc all made us feel very, very welcome. Except of course the Accrington players who seemed to have found a folder called 'Alladyce - Play Offs - How to stop the opposition' and could have had three or four red cards.
How Lee Evans wasn't out for months I will never know and there was an unreal assault of Davis right near our corner that the officials missed.
Quite the relief to get the late goals and deservedly win. Proper non-league ground that's had to make some swift improvements.
Horrible manager. Horrible chairman. Horrible players - but thoroughly delightful locals and ground staff.

A short away trip for me, just over an hour from home. Great to finally see us win there and both goals in front of the away fans. Felt a big win at the time given of our previous performances there.
