Points needed for QPR (a) 14:35 - Jul 26 with 2177 viewsCobboldCrusty

Just wondering how many points people think will likely be needed for what will obviously be a popular away day?

I'd imagine 3 points would be a good afternoons work.

Fairly sure top and bottom tier we get is just shy of 3000.

So will most likely reach the 5+ group and be a scramble there.

I don't think anyone really knows yet.....

Do they normally give away fans both tiers?

I don’t think as many people buy membership as people think.

A lot of people were worrying about Sunderland but the ticket office seem to think all priority levels will get a chance of tickets.

Going forward after the first few games the levels will start to increase by 1 point.

Long old poke, big allocation and on SKY though.

QPR will be very in demand I imagine.

£40 might well have put a few off given it's a good £10 too expensive. GC numbers exceeding the allocation was only a problem for Cambridge, Cheltenham and Fleetwood last season I think and two of those were a good distance away so less of a problem.

I think QPR will give us a good indication of how really in demand games will work, it's Summer so some might be away but far more in demand than Sunderland on a Sunday evening.

I was at the AFC Wimbledon v. QPR friendly last weekend - I wouldn't be surprised if we picked up 3 points.

Oh yeah of course QPR is going to be more popular but that’s not to say it won’t hit all the priority bands.

I reckon QPR will give us both tiers, but that makes the allocation only about 2,500. The upper tier holds 1,800 & the lower tier 700. My son has a workmate who is a QPR fan & I'm hoping he can get us tickets with the home fans. A Radlett address wouldn't show up a red flag if I just bought home tickets, I reckon.

I’d be very surprised if QPR got to ‘just’ season ticket holders. (Not basing that on anything other than just a hunch however).
