Financial fair play 20:20 - Aug 26 with 1574 views | pennblue | So how are we meant to compete against teams that can have 60 million in talent and go out and buy a 12. Million striker?

Coaching, tactics, team cohesion, motivation and loads of other factors can outweigh the money/players bought with the money. It's difficult, but not impossible. Teams can do a Luton.

That too. But we scored 3 goals. Don't concede 4 and we win the game. Easy saying it after of course.

Indeed. Had we been played off the park there might be reason for ‘concerns’, but we dominated large periods and finished the game with more possession, and more shots. I’d say we definitely competed. If you want to check out ‘uncompetitive’ look at where Weds are in the table, having run us close last year (and we have 5 points over Plymouth). Financial fair play on 22:24 - Aug 26 with 936 views | PioneerBlue | Parachute payments are a complete joke and are killing the competition. It’s one thing having payments to ease the transition down but then having the ability to sell assets and realise more capital therefore not needing the transition funds is unfair at best. Plus on top of the premier league exit fees the championship then lets them share the EFL tv money. I mean in what completion is this helpful.

Personally still think if you sell assets then that figure is reduced from the parachute payment meaning you can't then go and spend another 20 mill just because you've sold a player for 30. It's a farce
