That was a hard watch.

But, the best teams will always grind out a win when not playing well.
That's exactly what we've just seen.

Both matches this week have been squeaky bum time. It’d be nice to stomp all over someone for a change so we can enjoy the closing stages. I wonder if the players get as nervous as us?

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I doubt it. Only a couple of these players of these players have had to watch the Ipswich Town that we've had to watch over the previous 14 years, which is where, as supporters, our abject fear of everything going wrong comes from.

But it would be nice to get back to the car not feeling like I'm going to have a coronary occasionally.

We’re showing what a fantastic dude we are getting subs when not quite firing on all cylinders.

But I want to ask a question and not be accused of being negative .

Does anyone else think we look a bit heavy legged in the second half of Bristol and todays game? We seem to be not quite firing on all cylinders like we were before that 3week break? I don’t know if it’s our own intensity catching up with us or opposition sussing out how to combat us? What do others think?

Having said that Plymouth are bloody quick and clearly were hitting us on the break. But I was disappointed with their gamesmanship today,( taking a dive at the slightest touch, time wasting , going down “injured”) …. Maybe it’s a mark of respect they have for us that they see the need to play the game that way.

Anyway, bloody brilliant 3points today and scum lost ta boot too.

Also , Someone told me today that scum are £66m in debt …. Anyone else heard this?

We had an 18 day break and the way we play it will have an impact as there is no practice intensity like match intensity.

A week now after back to back games to recover with Fulham game where I imagine we'll see wholesale changes.

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

I'd agree we don't look entirely sharp in the last 2, compared to our usual standard. I would say that Plymouth restricted us better than most also through a combination of knowledge of us and this, though I also think they're getting too much credit for their performance which was essentially to stifle us and nick one. Think they only had that one shot in the first half and only really came out of their shell when 3-1 down.

They were also a man down at that point, so did well to stretch us and get a second.

Don't boil a kettle on a boat.
