Made me wonder another factor... not who will be potentially sold, but which players from the clubs in the current top 6 are likely to be missing due to Africa Cup of Nations/AFC Asian Cup in January/February?

Luongo is potentially a major loss given that Taylor isn't the same type of player.
His loss in Jan could have more of a bearing on things that this December run of games. |  |

Ndidi and Iheanacho will go from Leicester, that'll be a big miss. Nigeria should do alright as well, so I expect they'll be away for the best part of a month. Aribo from Southampton, also with Nigeria.
Can't think of any Lids players off the top of my head.
Edit: We actually go to Leicester when Nigeria are in the thick of the group stages, so probably not a bad time to play them to be fair. [Post edited 4 Dec 2023 13:33]

I think Leicester will hang onto Dewsbury-Hall unless someone offers them silly money with enough time for them to ensure they have an adequate replacement. It would be Leeds, Southampton and anyone who is less likely to get automatic who will be under greater pressure to sell in case they don't go up. The thing is, with the money involved, all clubs are likely to gamble on keeping their players if they can.
Gnonto at Leeds was keen to go in the summer and I think there may be a few like that who will want to move rather than play a part in trying to get them back up. |  |
