Bottom of the table is getting interesting...... 14:40 - Dec 12 with 1564 views | BigCommon | Few weeks back I thought the bottom 3 were nailed to finish that way Rotherham, Qpr and SW to get relegated..., With Huddersfield in the mix... Seen a bit of a resurgence in the form of SW, QPR and Hudders.... Massive game on Wednesday for Plymouth. If they lose to QPR, they will be level on points with them.. I also fancy SW to get something at Carrot RD.. Possibly draw that one (wishful thinking?) Recent form, also means, that our home fixture with QPR on the horizon, looks less straight forward than it did a couple of weeks back... The Division is livening up from top to bottom.. No such thing as an easy game.

More than happy with that, no time for Plymouth what so ever. Wouldn't mind seeing a mini revival for Wednesday only to be relegated on the last day.

Champ >>> League 1 But I would love us to have a spell in the Prem

Yep. Championship is exciting, but at the end of the day we'll need to be in the PL to win the Champions League. So PL it is.

I thought Plymouth would be mid table and the bottom three nailed on, but it’s not looking that way at the moment. They’re a strange lot. They’ve got a thread running on us basically asking why we’ve made such a good start. Some are open minded and knowledgeable about why we are where we are. Others are still pretty bitter thinking they they did not get the credit they deserved - talk about a chip on the shoulder. What more did they want? Others are waiting for the bubble to burst, praying for us to be overtaken by Leeds of all people and to fall down the table. We’ve been lucky in games including the home game against them and haven’t played any of the top teams yet apparently. Some think we bought promotion last year and are heading for financial disaster if we don’t make the PL this year and we are arrogant supporters. All of it a load of old bilge. Why any of them should be interested in a club the other side of the country is beyond me. It’s hardly our fault they are punching above their weight in this division and that it may be catching up with them, I think they’ll be in trouble if Schumacher goes, which is very possible given there’s a lot of bigger jobs out there and has to be a ceiling on what Plymouth can achieve beyond best shirt in the Championship. Nice part of the world, mind. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I guess they have that thread as a large proportion of their fans entered a state of delirium such that they managed to convince themselves, somehow, that they were a bigger and better team than us by the end of last year, even with all the evidence pointing to the contrary.
Bottom of the table is getting interesting...... on 16:59 - Dec 12 with 899 views | BloomBlue | I think it's silly to think any part of a league is nailed on when only just heading into Dec. Especially a league like the championship this season given its all tight. 2 or 3 wins by a team in the lower part of the league and suddenly they will be near a playoff position.

Thought they played really well against us at PR.. And if Im honest, I don't think the away game at Home Park will be at all easy... So I'm really surprised to see them where they are.. Perhaps some really poor form, early doors, by teams below them, made their start look better than it was?.. They are yet to win an away fixture.. It's all about momentum, isn't it.. Only takes a few defeats on the spin to change the mindset of a squad.. So far, we've yet to lose 2 league matches on the spin under KM, since his arrival. The ability to bounce back after a defeat, is massive. You go 4 or 5 without a win, and it gets harder to win..

So did I. Had Edmundson been shown a red for that challenge at 2-0, which many a ref would have given, that’d have been that. However, we dug back into the game and I thought deserved the win in the end. Whittaker is a good player, but I believe they’ve lost one or two other key ones to injury. Either way, they’re struggling away from home and are by no means invulnerable at home. I didn’t realise they’d failed to win an away game to date. I actually think they’ll survive, but they’re beginning to annoy me a little. Other teams at the bottom have certainly improved for now and yes, momentum is crucial. Every fixture looks a mountain to climb if you lose a few - as well we know from previous depressing years. Also having players who can slot in and out pretty seamlessly, as we have with the exception of Hirst is also important.
