Team for today 09:54 - Jan 27 with 1206 views | unstableblue | Wimbledon in last round was: Walton, Tuanzebe, Woolfenden, Edmundson, Humphreys, Morsy (c) (Ball 89), Taylor, Hutchinson (Burns 81), Harness (Aluko 81), Broadhead (Buabo 81), Ladapo (Sarmiento 57). Unused: Slicker, Luongo, Chaplin, Jackson. I’m thinking Walton Axel Wolf Fridge Humphreys Taylor Travis Jackson Hutchison Sarmiento Broadhead Rest Davis and Clarke, the latter especially Keep resting Morsy too valuable for the league - he’ll probably start. But give Travis time as I can see him become a bench option going forward. Allow Broadhead to play into form and try the striker role… probably won’t suit industrial Maidstone defenders though!!

Yes you’re right Will he play with Travis, with our captain in a more advanced role? Or alongside Taylor who I thought was the unsung hero of Leicester second half, and is getting close to truly clicking. I think Travis was crucial to the 4 points gained against Sunderland and Leicester. But I just don’t see him as a starter going forward with Morsy back. He just doesn’t have quality distribution at the end of the breaking up play. So Taylor or Luongo will always be preferred?

There will be a decision over whether Morsy could do with some minutes having not played for a while and I'd expect to see Aluko in for either Jackson or Broadhead (with the other moving up top), he's been doing a bit of media so think he might be earmarked for a start and Jackson has played a fair bit of footy in recent weeks having generally been a bench option so he might need a rest.

Team for today on 10:11 - Jan 27 with 1068 views | FrimleyBlue | In prep for a Feb. I'd actually go as close to first 11 as possible. Get players playing together as much as possible. Morsy with Travis for example Maybe broadhead as striker with sarmiento and Chaplin behind.

There's no need for that, it's not like we've got a really unfamiliar group of players who need to gel. Morsy and Travis aren't likely to be our regular starting pair, imo, and I'd say 9 of our starting XI picks itself at the moment with the centre forward and left sided forward being the only positions that aren't certain. This is a good chance to get minutes into players who don't always start but who we are going to need off the bench or to step in over the final 18 games.
