For ffp.. for this deal as its a 4 year deal.. say it was 1.5 mill. That 1.5 mill doesn't get counted as part of this year's accounts as an upfront payment does it? Its over the 4 years itself.

The fee will be amortised (spread equally) over the 4.5 years. So we will only have 6 months of amortisation in the accounts to 30 June 2024.

Yep the fee amortises over the contract, so as you say it is split over the 4 years
