The budget situation can't be that serious, otherwise they would have sold Gallagher on top of Wharton and not done a (possibly failed) loan deal for McGuire.

I don't really care if that deals go through or not. I would imagine we will sign Gallagher in the summer if they don't take up the option on him due to his wages. We have made it clear we aren't going to pay over our valuation for him so taking up their option will be a big risk that they end up stuck with his wages for another year.
