What an album that was. I got my dad to buy it for me on cassette when it came out, I came home from school to find him listening to it, "sounds like Led Zep" he said.
Good bloke my dad, he drove me and a couple of mates to Brixton Academy the following month to see Soundgarden there.

I saw that gig as well, although the crowd didn't seem that into it for some reason.

I always flip between the two. Badmotorfinger is closer to stoner rock in places, really sludgey and heavy (which ticks a LOT of boxes for me), whereas Superunknown is the more polished and rounded album. | |

Yeah thinking about it, it would've been around that time. I had tickets to see Nirvana in Brixton in April 1994 but obviously that never happened. Never got to see them live but saw pretty much every other band from that era.
