The Reform candidate in my area is one E Powell 20:53 - Jun 10 with 1448 views | Pendejo | Seems an appropriate name. We've got 3 different socialist parties represented... Given our ward used to return 2x SWP candidates to Council, it seems a shame to split the vote. Mian Akbar, Workers Party of Britain Jean Branch, Liberal Democrats Vicky Foxcroft, Labour (current MP, albeit with boundary changed) John Lloyd, Alliance for Green Socialism Nupur Majumdar, Conservative Edward Powell, Reform UK Adam Pugh, Green Oliver Snelling, Communist Party of Britain Julia Tilford, Independent

However, with Labour shifting to the right and Reform standing, I think the splitting of the vote will happen across the spectrum. If it were to lead to a reform of our voting system for something better, great, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

However, looking on the bright side they might just split the Tory vote.

Here in Broxtowe we have a sitting Tory councillor standing as an independent against their own MP which is quite something - and sure to split their vote further.
