This was the one. After winning the four games before it, this was the big test and to come away with a comfortable win meant we could beat everyone, as we basically did.

Great finish from Hirst.
Think that’s my favourite goal from the McKenna era, I know there’s better goals but this was a big game and if I recall rightly or wrongly the 1st of the big away games in the run in.
Felt like it was coming together at that point.

I was listening to this game in the car with my wife and daughter heading up to Nottingham. When Walton saved the penalty, I said to them both that's us going up. Neither had any interest whatsoever in the game or my comment though.
So back to the original quesitn: I remember it well.
Listening on the radio or even just following the text on the BBC (pretty sure I listened) — Walton’s penalty save felt like a big “event” that was kickstarting the something’s-happening-at-last feeling.
This was a very good team for L1.

He’s been brilliant, and his absence has hurt us at times (obviously we still got over the line comfortably but we looked a worse team without him).
Such a key player for us, and clearly loves it here - just makes me frustrated that posters were allowed to spam unwarranted, relentless daily criticism of him on here.
