Oh that brought back some memories. I listened to the match on an old transistor radio glued to my ear. I was half way up the stairs in our tiny terraced first house. It was the only place I could get a signal. We were 1-0 up from the first leg.
When Butch scored I went into such a frenzy that I slipped down the stairs. To put the match into context it was part of a series of games where we played 7 times in 15 days. Sat, Tue, Thur, Sat, FAcup semi, Monday, Wed, and Sat. No wonder the boys look tired. Great times.

Some good stuff on youtube lately.
Full UEFA cup final 2nd leg, including build up and stadium announcer bizarrely asking Town fans to get down from the floodlight pylons lol
Yes it was amusing, and they took not one blind bit of notice. The "stadium announcer" was in fact David Houseley, who was asked to make the announcement by the Amsterdam police commissioner. Thanks for finding this.
