Statistically his running numbers were fantastic last season, especially in the pressing element of his game, which is something required in our side.
Recorded over 11 sprinting pressures p/90 last season which was 2nd in the PL, and was recorded at 5 metres per second when pressing, which was ranked in the top 5 in the PL last season.
Added his evident technical ability when you watch him, looks like a player that would almost be the perfect fit for us. [Post edited 4 Jul 2024 11:03]

My dad is a Cov fan so I watched him a lot. In 22/23 he was more of a box to box midfielder than AM, before that he was a bit further back. His running and interceptions were a huge aspect of his game although his possession stats probably weren't great. Robins seems to a big fan of the first time pass though so that may have been a factor of that and him being under instructions to play progressively (moreso than Sheaf), I'm not sure.
Based on Luongo and Morsey's renaissances here he'd definitely do well under KMK. Cost them about £14m and don't think that they could reasonably expect to get more than that tbh. | | | |
