Tactical voters: Odds below: (Rommer's eat yer heart out) 09:58 - Jul 3 with 1710 viewsbluelagos

If you are looking to vote tactically but unsure who to vote for (to stop a candidate or party) - below are the bookie odds for each Suffolk constituency. You can see the candidates most likely to challenge.

Polls are a bit erratic at a local level, but the bookies will have looked at all of them before setting their odds.

Any seat can be checked here:
https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/uk-constituencies

And don't forget your photo ID - you can not vote without it.

Ipswich - Labour are 1/20 on so that's looking nailed on tbh.

South Suffolk - Tory James Cartlidge's seat.
Tory 4-6
Labour 7-4
Reform 11-1
Green 150-1
Lib 500-1

Suffolk Coastal - Tory Therese Coffey's seat.
Labour 1-2
Tory 5-2
Reform 33-1
Liberals 50-1
Green 100-1

Suffolk Central and North Ipswich - Dan Porter (not standing) old seat.
*The Labour candidate has been disowned by the party for betting against himself here.
Tory 4-5
*Labour 5-4
Reform 25-1
Libs 100-1
Green 100-1

Suffolk West
Labour 8-13
Tory 13/8
Reform 33-1
Libs 150-1
Green 200-1

Waveney (New seat)
https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/uk-constituencies/next-uk-general-election-

Greens & Tories neck and neck though Greens look favourites (see odds above)
Labour 12-1
Reform 20-1
Libs 250-1

If you don't bother to vote - you can't really moan if they winners do stuff you don't like.

And people literally died to get the vote, so it really is important to vote if you can. Ruined ballots get counted too - if "none of the above" is your thing.

Just popping over the border - South West Norfolk (Liz Truss) is neck and neck with Labour shading the betting. That would be very funny.

The MRP polls are all over the place aren't they, to the point of being actively unhelpful.

I'm in South Suffolk and will be tactically voting Labour.

Waveney Valley looks like a very good chance for the Greens. Posters-wise, Bungay is totally Green if you look around the town, but I'd strongly urge Lab, LD and others to go tactically Green here. I had a pleasant exchange with a Labour activist there whilst delivering pamphlets and we both acknowledged the importance of tactical voting in each other's constituencies.

Don't waste your vote.

The Labour candidate in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich is still standing, and still described as the Labour candidate. He has been suspended, but that looks temporary and doesn't affect the legitimacy of his candidacy.

I have voted but people literally died so we would have the option, not the obligation. I don't believe spoiling your ballot has any more impact than not voting.

Truly impaired.

Coffey that odious creature has a chance (large it seems) to lose ? ...when I lived in the UK the area she represented was one of those safest of safe seats I am certain, has there been a boundary change ?
I know when living both in kesgrave and right next door to broke Hall school it did seem one year it was dr Dan and the next Coffey though..or maybe it was the councils,so confusing.

slightly disagree, spoiling your ballot shows you don't want any of them, whereas staying at home, could mean a myriad of things.

having said that, i think you should always vote even if it's for the least worst option as extremists will always be motivated to vote, so it's important not to hand over all the say to them...

Mandatory to vote here and in quite a few places too I think .. I've had a few debates with myself over the years if this is good or bad and I still haven't decided.
