Junior Blues membership 12:07 - Jul 16 with 2205 viewsitfc_bucks

Disappointed to see the price hike and there be no value left.

10% off this and that, but no tickets and nothing really replacing them means I'll not be shelling out for the boy this year.

Not sure how they are supposed to give tickets away when they will all be sold.

Probably won’t be doing a pack out Portman Road either.

Agreed. It is disappointed but expected. Last year the tickets were halved (i think) so bound to disappear this year with the demand.

I do like the packs they get but whether its worth the money now is individual. I'm not local too so wouldn't get the benefit of most of the benefits.

You do get into a mascot ballot.....if thats something they want to do!

We're not local either, and my son has his own academy commitments elsewhere in the pyramid, so we can only get to PR when we can.

We were part of the few that made the trip to see us struggle past Reading last season as it was one of the few games we could get to.

Conscious it's all a bit "woe is me", but it's frustrating nonetheless.

Yep, that was always a benefit of being crap! Being able to give tickets away.

They took the free tickets from the super Blues membership last season so was always going to happen with the JB, but annoying about the price rise, although the SB membership is £5 cheaper.

Also, can Junior blues apply for the ballot, if they were a member last year?

Pointless for me because it'll just be my son and he can't go on his own, but might be useful to know for some.

I've emailed the ticket office about this, I assumed JBs could enter the ballots, but there isn't much use a younger JB being successful if they only get one ticket as they won't be able to go alone.

So I'm pretty confused here. Me and my son had SB memberships each last year and attended 12 games together.

It is now saying that only 1 ticket is available for purchase not 2. So if on my membership I have my son as a close friend or family and he has the required points for the ballot does he manage to get a ticket too or requires to be successful under his own name?

I don't understand how I can guarantee going to any game with my son in this way. What if he doesn't get selected? Or if he does, does that mean that name connected with their account also gets one.

Any advice would be appreciated 🙏

My two have been Junior Blues members for years. They are 16 next birthday, so arguably too old now anyway.
In years gone by they got 4 tickets to 2 games each, meaning we could get to 4 games each season. Many of these games were excrutiatingly poor!!!
Last year the allocation changed to 2 tickets each to 1 game, so quite limited.
This season there are no tickets included.
Although not included in the package, they were both mascots for the Burnley FA game and whilst it wasn't cheap, it remains one of their best memories.
I'm glad we did it when we did rather than the lottery of a ballot.
The JBs have been awesome to be associated with but like most things, it's time for us to move on and say goodbye.
Whilst I still have my ST, I'm not sure when I get to take them this season, but that is simply the price of success.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Last season each Junior blue could buy 1 child ticket and 1 adult ticket with the priority booking, doesn't anyone know if that'll still be the case?

My kids were Junior blues but I didn't have a membership

Unless the boy is poached by the Town academy and promoted to the first team (which, given our approach to signing a GK this season isn't impossible, I guess), this isn't likely to be a problem.
