Yep good article and below the line there's some excellent analysis of our opening fixtures by one commenter:

I've been busy doing a bit of analysis on the Ipswich fixture list and have found some interesting results, let me share a few here:

Game 1 – Liverpool at home – New manager bedding in, team not clicking yet - Ipswich win
Game 2 - Man City away – almost entire squad on summer international duty, exhausted- Ipswich win
Game 3 – Fulham at home – Silva, toys out of the pram when he doesn’t get the midfielder he wants, club in turmoil – Ipswich win
Game 4- Brighton away – See Liverpool above – Ipswich win
Game 5 – Southampton away – we finished above them last season – Ipswich win
Game 6 – Aston Villa home- Villa so preoccupied with the European adventure, eye off the ball in the league - Ipswich win.

Theres more data available but im pleased to say that its looking very unlikely that any points will be dropped at all this season

Which is nice.

You must be crazy. We definitely won't win at City, nailed on draw, City will be right up for it after the 'blue moon, you got promoted too soon' song.

Article penned by a Town fan, who - i am pretty sure - is a regular in here!!! Excellent piece, and good of him to ensure they disassociated him from the predicted finish!!!

Loved his disclaimer with regards to the prediction. No way would Nick Ames predict Town finishing 18th.

Br nice if he let us know his personal prediction.
