…and do you reckon the funds are helping with the Szmodics and Phillips signings?

Wasn’t bright paths 120m invested worth around a 40% stake. That would put club value around £300m maybe a bit less. So 1.4% stake, I reckon 4-5million approximately.

Whatever he’s put in, it’s great. I know it sounds odd, but Matt Holland on the Board and Ed investing is bigger news for me than transfers. These are people who truly care about the club and like us supporters are the club. Brilliant.

Sounds like he’s got a lifetime box out of it. Has Ashoton done him a timeshare? 😂

If it was straight investment then it can't count for FFP can it? If it's been done as a transaction then we might be able to book at least some of it as revenue

I think it 3.8 million

120 (bright path) divide 44% x 100 gives you total
Club value 272.7M

1.4 % of that is 3.81 m

Again I haven’t done maths since school a long time ago.

That is correct. I thought it was odd wording from Ed, but cost of box x 50 years or something it would be market value for at least part of the deal
