Hutch. Delap. Szmodics all did well when they were given the ball.
I'll be honest i thought luongo and morsy both were poor on the ball but better off it today. Morsy couldn't get going but this was man city.
Defence. Coped fine imo
Davis had a bit of a head loss to give the penalty away he will kick himself for that
And the other goals weren't really defensive issues.
Johnson I felt was pretty good. Axel for me was excellent today. |  |

Hutchinson and Delap were lively. Johnson played much better today.

Delap has proven himself a handful for some of the best defenders in the league, which is promising. He's got a very impressive workrate but also a touch and decent feet in tight spaces. Really encouraging.
Similarly Szmodics was better on the ball than I thought. Looks sharp on the turn and timed his run perfectly for the goal.
Hutchinson looks our best footballer. He carries the ball so well, particularly from our own half when we were struggling for breathing space. He mopped up a surprising amount in and around our D today, always nipping in with pace and challenging in an area where I though City really dominated. I can't wait to see what he can do in more expansive games. |  | | |

While Hutchinson's dancing feet and driving runs were there today when he had the chance, his defensive work was excellent I thought - always tracking back and nipping at heels. |  | | |

Thought Tuanzebe played well, really opened his legs up
