Fook how I wish you could get a no commentary option on Sky , just get the crowd noise, hate Hinchcliffs commentary

Honestly f’king horrendous. No idea how he gets Premier League games. Should be nowhere near the coverage.

It's a toss up between him and Goodman, who's worse.. luckily we don't have to listen to him on our games anymore...

Rob Hawthorne on Sky is a dreary commentator too.. and there's nothing worse than listening to the biased Carragher commentate on Liverpool games... Basically a fan with a microphone..

With all the technology I can't understand why there isn't a crowd only option on the red button.

This was suggested many years ago when one of those David Attenborough nature docs had dramatic music so loud you couldn't hear the narration.
The complaints poured in to the BBC.
It seems the sound editor had a state-of-the-art digital sound system and it seemed fine to him while 99% of the rest of the world didn't even have a sound bar on their TV.
The narration only option was floated then and the BBC said it was possible to do via the red button. They've never done it.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

I'm pretty sure the 2 sets of games on Amazon offer it. So it can be done easily.

Didn't know that, but I don't have an Amazon account and don't visit their website. Shame sky don't use that option.
Perhaps, the commentators get paid by the word x by the number of people watching!

Nothing is as bad as a Peter Dreary commentary, the man is a talking definition of misophonia...

You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

It wasn't just Amazon. For a while (admittedly a few years ago) Sky offered official, fan zone and no commentary
