England threw it away over the weekend, careless in the first innings with wickets in hand and far too lose Saturday afternoon. The less said about yesterday's batting the better.

England seem happier to entertain and keep the game moving rather than actually being the best side in the world.
McCullum/Stokes don't seem to get it that if you are only batting between 30-60 overs of an innings, your bowlers just aren't going to get the rest they need and will break down.

very poor application and SL deserve the win. England have weakened the batting but at the same time picked a pretty sub par bowling attack overall. Thought Pott's looked really good in the last match. |  | | |

You're correct, it's called a 'test' for a reason and the physical toll on bowlers is immense. I think I heard on Sky yesterday that a quick is doing 17-19km in a day's play. They need time to recover to be at their best. |  |
