A timely reminder for some of the posters on here with their I'll thought comments.
Remember mental health is not mental illness they are different.
If you need to speak to someone that first step may seem like a mountain you cannot overcome but that first step is the most important.
Loneliness is a massive part of mental health. Meeting people may seem impossible but not being alone, or feeling alone is a great way to improve your mental wellbeing.
Take that first step today of all days to improve your or someone you knows health and wellbeing. You never know it may just make both of you feel better.

Maybe we could all chip in with our own advice, as the players have done.
Mine: Go for a walk. Every day. It’s cheap, easy and will help clear your mind. And it’s good for your physical health, too, obviously.
Great idea Illy, and I second your walk suggestion.
Mine - asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but is a strength of character.
I was signed off work earlier this year for 3 weeks due to mental health issues, and walking, running, rowing machine, and talking to people all helped immensely.

I know that they are our bitter rivals, but i still salute them for creating this video.
Remember folks, be kind. You just dont know what others are going through.
Genuinely the best thing that club has ever done.
Says a lot about their lack of achievements, but credit where its due that was a really powerful and impactful message that rightly got the exposure it warranted.

I don't think I truly know what it means to have suffered with sustained poor mental health, and for that I feel grateful. The older I've got though the more I've come to the conclusion that its probably a spectrum we're all on, and we probably move along that spectrum at different times of our lives and to different degrees. I don't mean for it to sound insensitive to those who have significant challenges, I have so much sympathy for them and I think they've probably experienced being further up that spectrum than I ever have.
There's certainly been times I've veered up it a bit, relative to where I've been previously. I put a lot of pressure on myself generally, I always have done. There's certain things in my past that had me feeling like a failure when it comes to sport or academics and nothing felt good enough by the standards I set myself. I'm not good with pressure, it still manifests at work, elements of imposter syndrome or not wanting to let people down. Adult life, mortgages, kids, cost of living and all that stuff weighs heavy on my mind sometimes. As you say I find exercise to be absolutely essential, running really clears my head and keeping fit helps me physically and mentally.
Talking is also good advice. Advice I'm not great at taking myself which makes me a hypocrite, but its good advice.

Can’t argue with that. Now I’m having flashbacks to the early days of the print fanzines and someone had written in to say they’d met Steve Whitton and asked him for a tip (assume gambling) and he replied “don’t jump off a moving bus”.

I don't always find time for a proper walk, but lucky enough to have a lovely big garden, so when working from home make a point of taking 3 or 4 proper screen breaks and just wander round the garden taking in the scenery and wildlife. Feel so much better for it.
I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Cracking idea.
I’ve found getting out into nature has always been helpful. Fortunate that l have an allotment. Don’t always go there to work on it but just to sit quietly and watch the world around me.
Also a member of the local Men’s Shed. Have found this useful too. Have had amazing conversations with, and support from, some of the guys there while we’re working on a project together.
TWTD is a great place to reach out on. Guarantee that you’ll get support on here. Fine bunch of people (apart from the odd one or two).
As others have said, whatever seems easiest to do, do something. Make a move.
