People were gushing over Clarke a couple of weeks ago. He got a bit of stick yesterday but that article seems to be based on one performance.

I am disappointed as I expected him to play wider, take people on, sometimes to the byline and get crosses in, instead of always cutting back inside, which is easier to defend / less effective

In our system as a 10, I don't think it works for him

Having seen his miss from yesterday again, it was a bad one (he knows that) and if that had that gone in (big if....) it would have changed the game

We have a number of players slowly losing confidence
