So having been suspended on the back of his video comments, David Coote and the VAR official apparently should not have awarded the West Ham penalty vs Man Utd.

I wonder if he had not been suspended whether they would have gone public with this statement, seems quite convenient to pile in on him.

It would have because it was on the pre-recorded referees Mic’d up show on Sky Sports last night.

Was expecting them to talk about our Leicester decisions but they didn’t, maybe on the next one.

But isn't he blaming Michael Oliver as VAR referee on this one? As a much more senior referee, if Michael Oliver tells him he should go and review the incident David Coote would most likely agree with him.

Am I the only one watching that thinking it isn't the worst decision? Bit of a coming together, but the Man U defender does swing and miss the ball and instead hit the oncoming West Ham player.

I think the defender's knee hits the ball maybe? It is hard to tell, enough to say it's not a clear and obvious error.

I'd give that handball against Ings if anything! Sure there's contact between the players but Ings has already started to turn and dive. If it takes that long to look at it and decide it can't be that clear! VAR is rubbish and making footie a rubbish non contact sport!

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?
