Ali 12:41 - Nov 25 with 1139 views | Blooos | I know people have been saying he's had an injury the whole times he's been here, but would we really play him if that's the case? No offence to him but we would be better off having anyone else up front, he literally cant run, cant be blamed on not being match fit as he was on the pitch for 2 minutes and couldn't run. Just seems a bit weird.

Played there, in a lone role, for Blackburn… didn’t he?

Ali on 16:06 - Nov 25 with 814 views | JakeITFC | He's short of the level (which isn't a surprise to anyone involved) but yesterday he just looked well off it physically. I get that it's ring rust, a big jump etc. but even against Liverpool first game he looked twice as mobile as he did yesterday. In general it's going to be a big problem for us for the minutes that we are without Delap over this Christmas period - you obviously lose goals, ball progression and pressing from the front, but I'd suggest we also lose quite a lot of ability to go long from Muric (which we seem to be doing much more often). If you could guarantee me an hour of Delap in each of our seven games before January now then I'd probably take it, but we need to think of something else from the bench if Ali is not even fit enough to run around.

No. Played as a No 10 for them.
