Muric, and I haven't checked recently, was top of the league for individual errors leading to goals. That's hard to ignore. I don't think we should pile on either player, but neither is great with their feet and Walton's distribution has always been a weaker point of his game. Both are being asked to play a system that probably doesn't suit. When Brighton got cooking after their goal they were all over us. They pressed well.

Like I said. Waltons are ignored because they didn't result in goals.. doesn't mean they didn't happen. The defence just recovered well enough.

Which is why we should keep picking Walton. Luck generals, and all that.

I doubt Muric religiously logs on to TWTD post game to see what we are saying about him. You seem to have a bit of a hard on for me lately.

His decision making seemed to have completely gone after that collision. Since he's been back in the team he's been very good at decoding when to go long and when to go short. After the collision he was going short every time. Regardless of whether the pass was on or not. [Post edited 16 Jan 21:53]

Yeah I thought that. We mixed it up brilliantly first half and created our own problems second half. In a half we really threatened to kick on, we reverted to how we were at the start of the season. The good news is, 4pts from those 4 games post Christmas is probably the must anyone would really have expected anyway. The bad news is we now have City and Liverpool and we’re definitely in a three horse race to avoid the drop Praying for a performance of the ages against City…

We were a bit fortunate with a short pass down the middle in the first half, as have we been in other games (pass to Palmer the most fortunate example). I'll be amazed if he was concussed.

Partly due to Delap getting absolutely no change from their back 4? Veltman (despite a bewildering lack of a yellow card until 80 something minutes) was immense. Hecke, Webster and then Dunk mopped up. Their high line, which we failed to exploit in any meaningful way, really gave us no room to operate.

Muric won't be reading the forum, don't worry. There are however plenty of posters here who'll pick up on stupid terms like "Murictastic" - that doesn't help. I've also picked up on another poster having a go at CW post match this evening - you're not that special. Being a Billy Big Bollox on a football forum appears to have given you an inflated sense of importance. Perhaps you should get over yourself a little.
